Eklind's Unusual Tool
Wednesday, December 21, 2011I bought this torx tool to allow acsess to #25 torx screws that required angular insertion of a torx driver. I got essentially zero torque on the screws at any angle, including straight in when the ball end was used. In looking at close up pictures of ball end Hex tools, and ball end Torx tools, I find the tool I bought has a Hex ball end on the long arm of the key, and a torx on the short arm, and thus no torque on the Torx screw when using the ball end.
