- Heads contain steel shot or steel sand for more driving force and less bounce-back than solid head style, reducing impact felt by user. Heads have nonmarring coating, except 3MD67 has 1 steel face and 1 coated face. Handleless hammer 1TMZ1 is designed to fit in the palm of the hand. Nupla hammers 2UV36, 5LV12, 5LV13, and 2LMX7 and Simplex and Supercraft by Halder have replaceable tips. Nupla tips available on page 1111.
