Customer Reviews
Great price, bad packing
Tuesday, August 30, 2011The motor was a direct replacement for an existing installation. Fast delivery and the best price I could find online. But, the packing was horrible. This motor has cooling fins cast as part of the gear head. Quite a few of the fins were broken off during shipping, but the motor was still functional. If my customer could have waited longer, I would have returned this item for one that wasn't damaged.
Cheaper than Grainger for a Dayton motor. Don't understand how that works.
The packing was horrible.
