- Shutters open automatically when fan is activated. Frame is G-90 galvanized steel. 26-ga. mill-finish aluminum louvers are felted on leading edge for quiet operation. Nylon bushings and stainless steel pivot pins. Max. velocity: 2000 fpm. 9/32" x 1/2" mounting holes.

Sunday, August 21, 2011The reason its 4 star is that the edges are all stamped and folded, making it quite flimsy. I tack welded all the edges prior to installation and that worked great

Good Deal
Tuesday, July 26, 2011When trying to keep cost at a reasonable level (one where you can actually make a profit) this product works for me. There are lots more expensive shutters out there but this one is a good value. Be careful though, it's fragile. Be sure to check the condition when you receive it from the shipper. I have had to straighten a few of them out to make them functional.
