Not a Deluxe bench as pictured
Sunday, June 01, 2008Silly me in that I believed that what the picture illustrated, I would therefore receive ( especially as there was no disclaimer regarding the illustration... OOPS ! ..dang did we forget to include that pesky disclaimer ?) and at such a low price ! .. this is one heck of a deal! !!!!! NOT!!!!! 'Plain Jane' no shelf. no edging. no drawer. no riser. not even faux maple... If it was not so blatant, I would say that it was a mistake, but it appears to be a deception... I left them a message after I had received it... of course back freight, packaging, arrangements, 25 % re-stocking... etc. I'd be better off $$$ wise to keep it, but it is serviceable, so I'll use it ... I am NOT happy though... This outfit ( in this case for sure) is merely a third party agent for Grainger of all things... I'll just order my stuff from Grainger, thank you.... ...06-14-2008 Update... after somewhat protracted "negotiations" a deal has been struck to refund freight charges on first order and allowance given for "free" freight on the components that would make up some sort of equivalent to the illustrated bench... better than 'a poke in the eye' I guess, but still tirsome and makes one feel foolish for not contracting locally for large "freight shippable only" hard goods.
Has 4 feet and is made by Edsal
It only bears a pale resemblence to the Picture that is posted
